Fabric Wall Panels, Baffles, and Tiles (Priced by the application)

 
ML 2000 IS 2000
This multi-purpose panel is ideal for use on walls or ceilings.  It is the most commonly used panel for the absorption of sound.
Construction: 6PCF glass fiber core, reinforced edge protection, full fabric or vinyl wrap.
Thicknesses and NRC Ratings: 1/2" 10PCF (.55-.65), 1" (.80-.90), 1 1/2" (.90-1.00), 2" (1.10).
ML 2100 IS 2100
This panel is designed for high traffic areas where impact resistance is required, i.e. lobbies, corridors or other areas prone to high abuse.  In addition to excellent acoustical values, this panel also offers a tackable surface.
Construction: 6PCF glass fiber core laminated with 1/8", 16-20PCF high density impact resistant glass fiber board, full fabric or vinyl wrap.
Thicknesses and NRC Ratings: 5/8", 1 1/8" (.90-1.00), 1 5/8", 2 1/8" (1.15).
ML 3000 IS 3000
This panel is used in areas where a variety of acoustical conditions is desired.  It is commonly used when reflective sound in combination with absorption is required such as in sound studios, auditoriums and theaters.
Construction: Optional core material, full fabric or vinyl wrap.
Thicknesses: 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1", 1 1/2", 2".
ML 3100 IS 3100
This durable panel is ideal for areas where an economical, custom tack surface is required.
Construction: Mineral fiber core, full fabric or vinyl wrap.
Thicknesses: 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1".
ML4000 IS 4000
A multi-purpose panel designed for use in extremely high abuse applications requiring high sound absorption.
Construction: 6PCF glass fiber core with chemically hardened edges.   The glass fiber core is faced with an acoustically transparent, 0.040" thick, (22%) open perforated, rigid, abuse resistant vinyl sheet.  The composite core is wrapped with fabric.  Maximum panel size of 48"x120" with custom sizes available.
Thicknesses and NRC Ratings:   1 1/16", 2 1/16", (.95-1.15).
ML 4100 IS 4100
Identical to IML 4000 except no fabric covering is utilized and the edges are also faced with the perforated rigid vinyl.
Construction: It utilizes a 6PCF glass fiber core with square edges.   The face and all edges are laminated with an acoustically transparent, 0.040" thick, (22%) open perforated, rigid, abuse resistant vinyl sheet.  The vinyl sheet is available in a variety of colors.  Maximum panel size of 48"x120" with custom sizes available.
Thicknesses and NRC Ratings: 1 1/16", 2 1/16", (.95-1.15).

Clouds and Baffles (Priced based on fabric selection and Quantity)

IES Signature Ceiling Clouds are suspended horizontally with a special T-bar attachment component mounted to the cloud at the time of shipment.  Clouds are a highly effective treatment for the reduction of sound reflection.  Face and edges of the glass fiber core are wrapped in fabric or perforated vinyl to match or accenutate the room design.  Custom sizes available.

PRODUCTS QUIET A ROOMFUL OF BUZZ SAWS!

If you've ever used a power saw in the basement, your family was probably more irritated with the noise than excited about your creation.  Imagine what a saw mill sounds like!

The operators of this saw mill didn't have to imagine anything; this compact, efficient sawmill cuts and planes hardwood from raw logs for the furniture industry.

After a building renovation the building, it was determined that the new walls and ceilings contributed to a significant increase in noise levels.  It was a problem that their insurance company wanted resolved for the comfort and safety of the employees.

The noisiest part of the operation, the actual sawing, could not be isolated because every piece of equipment had to remain accessible to perform that function.  Acoustic enclosures were considered impractical.  Instead of isolating the noise at the source, they decided to treat the environment.

More than 600 ceiling baffles reduced overall noise levels by 8 db(A).

 Standard 2'x4' Polywrap Baffle
The cost of a standard 2'x4' polywrap baffle is substantially less than any other noise reduction treatment.

core1a.gif (11647 bytes) Glass fiber core with optional foil back.   This panel offers high NRC ratings and comes in a variety of finishes. core3b.gif (12140 bytes) Perforated mineral board is laminated to glass fiber, which offers improved overall acoustical values.  This panel also comes in a variety of finishes.
Perforated mineral board offers favorable NRC values and substantially increased STC values.  Available in a variety of finishes.
